The pull cord switch types is also called the "emergency stop switch". When the belt conveying site needs to stop, the conveyor is stopped by the switch action.
The pull cord switch types is divided into manual reset and automatic reset, which need to reach the IP level stipulated by the state.
Automatic reset: After the action can be automatically returned to the initial position, but may cause error start.
Manual reset: The self-locking device can remain in the operating position after the action, and the reset handle can be manually operated to return it to the initial position.
The rope switch is a necessary safety protection device for the belt conveyor to prevent the expansion of accidents and bring about heavy losses. Because of its convenient installation and reliable switch conversion, it has been widely used in belt transportation field.
Installation adjustment：
The pull cord switch types should be installed on both sides of the conveyor with access channels, and the installation position should ensure that the maintenance personnel can operate easily in an emergency.
1. Fixed the rope switch on the frame.
2, the distance between the two switches on one side is about 50m, the wire rope with a diameter of Φ4 is used to connect, and the tightness should be moderate.
3. In order to reduce the influence of the dead weight of the wire rope on the switch start, a bracket is installed in the frame every 3m to support the wire rope.
4, the other end of the wire rope is tied on the spring (fixed with a rope buckle), without affecting the normal use of the wire tightener on both sides of the rope, and ensure that the tension on both sides is balanced.
